How to Order
               What we really want to know is “Is it Safe?”            

     Yes, it really is safe. I am not just saying that to get you to order from us. Take a look at the so called "big guys." When you order tickets from airlines or an outfit from Lands End, you will have the same security as when you order from Shamrock Cross Stitch.

     When the order form comes up that is asking for your personal information - name, address, credit card number, etc. - watch what happens to your screen. You will notice two things.  First in the URL line which always starts out http:// you will see an "s" behind the http which makes it look like https://. The "s" is showing you that you are on a secure page. In Internet Explorer you will also see a closed lock in the lower right hand corner of your page. In Netscape you will see a closed lock in the lower left-hand corner. We are using what is called SSL or Secure Socket Layer.  Widely used and highly recommended. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into code that are securely transmitted to our server behind a firewall. 

     Look for these safety features on any site before you give out sensitive information.

 

That all sounds really good, but I still don't want to give out private information over the Internet.  Nothing personal!

     That's okay.  A few of our customers still feel that way. Here are some
options:
     Email:  Search through our catalog and keep a list of items you are interested in.  Email us with your requests.  Just remember, do not send your credit card number through email as it is just not secure. We will still need you to call us with your credit card number, name as it appears on your card, and expiration date.

     Fax:  Search through our catalog and keep a list of items you are interested in.  Fax your order, credit card number, name as it appears on your card, and the expiration date to us at (800) 203-6550. You must also include your full mailing address and a phone number where we can contact you if we have any questions regarding your order.

     Phone: Search through our catalog and keep a list of items you are interested in.  Call us at (800) 203-6550.  We will take calls personally between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, Central Standard Time. We will ask you for your credit card number, expiration date, name, address and a phone number where we can contact you if we have any questions regarding your order.

     International customers can expect their shipping rates to be a little higher.  Each order will be accessed individually.

 

We are required by DMC to post the following statement on our website and to adhere to the policy as stated: "DMC products are available for sale and purchase only within the United States and cannot be purchased, sold or shipped outside the United States."

How to Order
         How do we place an item in our shopping cart?            

   The shopping cart is very easy to use. If you are interested in Anchor Floss, for instance, click on the downward arrow in the field where the first Anchor color is displayed.  A list of all the available colors will appear. You can scroll down through this list and highlight the color you are interested in.  Then click on the “Add to Cart” image. This places that color in your shopping cart and you are ready to move on to the next item. Click the “Back” button in your browser to go back to the Anchor Floss page. Click “Continue Shopping” as you view your shopping cart to go to another category.   Continue in this manner for all items of interest.  Then click on the “View My Cart” image and make any changes you want to the items in your shopping cart.
